HTO:

SPDE is the rump company left from CVUS (Cellular Vision USA).
CVUS was the pioneer in the development of LMDS technology.
However, it was run like a mom and pop operation and was
much too early in the market (its technology was not quite
ready for prime time, and it made the mistake of targeting
residential users rather than businesses). It was at about 10
cents/sh when Winstar bought most of its spectrum. Its CEO,
who is extremely crafty, renamed it Speedus.com to tap
into the Internet craze and issued a bunch of highly
misleading press releases (he made it appear that the
proceeds of the spectrum sale were operating revenues).
Sure enough, the stock spiked to $9. However, this should
not mislead you. Its customer base is minuscule (revenue
last quarter = $15K) and it is bleeding red ink.

Re WMB's use of 38GHz, this is just part of the deal
that WMB made with Winstar last December. Nothing new here.
