heinz: i have asked myself what the strength in the utilities might mean, and my conclusion is that they are bought for their safe haven status That's exactly what I have been saying...<g> That is why the Dow Indices began the spike as the Hi-techs and Inuts began their descent. But, eventually each Dow Indices has begun to give up the ghost as they stopped being perceived as "safe enough"...Utilities being last on the list. The Utilities are now knocking at the supporting trend line based at the low of 4/15, the beginning point of this vertical rally in the Utilities. Regards, LG
