Chisy, one of the advantageous things associated with sponsoring the No. 35 car at Indy is the fact that these are high performance machines that are backed by BIG money in the BIGGEST SPECTACLE IN RACING. These machines are high tech and are vying for big money. The stakes are high. If MRPS can show their technology around gasoline alley and show the advantages that their technology offers, I would think that their efforts can pay off in a big way. Now I don't know if they are taking advantage of this marketing opportunity but I certainly hope so. Everyone of the teams could use the technology. MANY of the team sponsors could use the technology if they employ any type of machinery in providing what they market. Those who produce the tires, chassis, engines etc. could most likely make use of the technology. There should be plenty of opportunity to show the MRPS product around the race track. If I were them, I would provide a microphonics unit ot two to each team free of charge. How good would be the PR if a team actually found a pre race problem with an engine or gear box and was actually able to act on it and finish the 500 rather than come up short. That could happen. I don't know what it costs to sponsor a car and how one measures the success or failure of such an effort. But, I do know having a presence at the track offers a very good opportunity to show off their technology in a very high performance, high tech environment. BTW, It is good to see that the starting grid listed on the IRL website has been updated to show microphonics as a sponsor.indyracingleague.com Anybody care to vote who the think, or hope, wil win the 500?indyracingleague.com TIA Boyd Zander
