Don't agree with any of those reasons, least of all Political presure...are you kidding..CLINTON would kill him... Well....think about it..Clinton snubbed China on WT....US won cold war w/ Russia, all we have now is economic war....and BTW, that's how we won the cold war. China want's to play? We'll see? One thing Clinton isn't...stupid 1/4 increase wouldn't do a thing to our economy...probably good in the long run....also any weakness in the other world economies only makes US stronger... ...seems simple to me and I'm not a Rhodes scholar? 6> The bias announcement toward tightning is a new experiment...if this new openess doesn't work we go with what does...the real thing! Fed is hip to WS thanks to Rubin....
