Jim -
What you are doing is putting out your WAG on the margins and pretending to be in the know.
What I am doing was clearly documented in my last post. I am not pretending anything, just advancing my own personal interpretation of the information available.

"Let's assume that DELL is no more efficient than HP or CPQ, "
At WORST, Jim - are you claiming that DELL is LESS efficient than CPQ or HP? That would be a big surprise... Why did you feel it necessary to edit off the end of that sentence, which said in it's entirety:
Let's assume that DELL is no more efficient than HP or CPQ, even though we know they are.

I believe that all the people on these this thread are adults and are capable of making their own decisions and taking responsibility for the same.
Then why bother to post or even have a discussion forum? Do you think it is OK to intentionally set expectations which if followed would cause investors to lose money?

Jim - I don't know how others on the thread feel about your posts but I personally find them to be demeaning and counterproductive. Why don't you try thinking before you post? You used to have some valuable insights here - what has happened? Why don't you go back to well thought out contributions instead of flaming?

The arguments you have been making are the same as those put forth by Hpeace two years ago.

I know little about the positions taken by Steve Covin (Hpeace) who as far as I know was not a DELL investor - in fact I think he was either a CPQ employee or somehow connected with CPQ. In any event I don't know what his postings years ago have to do with current discussions. Perhaps you could reference the posts which you feel are similar.

Otherwise you should just drop this hpeace stuff - I have no idea what you are talking about and I doubt that anyone else does either.
