Jim, I never bought into the "Hey-Ho! At 400 We Go!" school of thought. So I think the split here is just fine. And barring a major market (NAZ) meltdown, there's not going to be a "hold onto your shorts or they're going to end up around your ankles" fall-off, post-split. The meltdown occurred pre-split. IMO, there just won't be a substantive one afterwards... But you set up your CMGI strategy properly, with a little luck, good sense, time, and favorable market support, you can go fishin', shoppin', surfin', or do anything else you wish to do with your time...
