HP is trading at a very high level at this time and may use their expensive shares to buy NOVL. NOVL is a great buy at 23, actually a steal. Their PE is high at the moment but their revenue and sales will accelerate in the coming quarters. Buy this stock on weakness and hold it for the long term.

If HP decides to make a bid, no less that 40 would be acceptable and this would be a good deal for HP. HP has stated publicly their move into the internet would be very aggressive and I cannot think of a better way to enter this sector than making a bid for Novell.

No fear holding this gem.

Rick

I'd agree, once NOVL made their mindshare and got to $80.00. that way
IBM would have to pay BIG bucks!!!!!! Regards, fb
