Not more than any other plays, maybe less of a gamble:
Scenario 1: If the news comes out that there is NO news, then the stock should have a quick rally.

Scenario 2: Some grim news comes out, but the company is still in business, stock is so extremely sold out that it may falter a bit, but then the market may start "buy" on news (opposite of sell on news).

Scenario 3: Company announces that it is packing up, and will be auctioning furniture on EBay. Take the loss, go long on EBAY
