Kathy, I also know that lesson, unfortunately I'm not real good at remembering the lessons. I got impatient also on JACO and have it at 4 1/4.

JACO and impatient??
i don't think so....when the trades were orignally entered last week, you were considering "paying" up to get some shares....no way you could have known they were going to fall this low....low volume lately, as people sit on shares (because it's a takeover play?)

so you could have sat on your bid, and maybe missed it, or try a "rule" of
1) this is my bid for the next X days
2) if i don't get filled at this level, i'll pay up to Y
3) or i'll let it go....another train a coming

be kind to yourself...you deserve it

kathyh...This is one of the hardest lessons
I learned and am still learning. Same thing happened to me with JACO, but have very few shares and I put it away. Decided to wait today for CS to come to me and 4 minutes before the close it did. To be honest what really helped was that i was not home and could not be tempted to change my order.
