So if I had a USB port on my (one and only)computer (I don't) and this copper wire connected between said port and my modem, I could then use the phone (voice) while I'm connected to the net...? Probably not, right? Unless this copper wire had an encoded signal that somehow... but wait, if I'm calling my ISP, how can I simultaneously be calling "mom"? How does POTS take two signals off a twisted pair and send them in 2 directions? Am I missing something incredibly simple? (scratching head)
