uncle, I can easily understand why HDTV and other memory intensive and frequency intensive devices need 800 Mhz, but my clonker? Only if ir is the only memory around, and probably they have most of what they need embedded. Now, if my washing machine is going to provide a real time display of what is happening inside with high resolution and graphics, and memory buffers so you can see what happened few minutes before, then, well. But frankly, those guys look at any additional $1 in standard product cost as a calamity. Zeev
