Now there's an idea! Stock commentators! Can you imagine selling seats at the skydome to watch the "Last Hour of Trade" while a Howard Cosell type commentator gives the play by play to a cheering crowd of thousands of spectators. Could sound something like this: In that Howard Cosell voice: "And the crowd is beginning to get a little wrestless as MCF just hovers around the sub 5 level" "But wait... what's this? ----- MCF has started an upward movement!" "5.60 and on the rise! That certainly turned a few heads." "I'd have to say that by the looks on everyones faces that they're questioning whether the stock is making it's move north or just giving us the infamous dead cat bounce" "It seems to be holding steady at the 5.50 level" "Looks like we could be... No... I can't believe this! This is absolutely incredible. MCF is making a fantabulous turnaround as it trades into the 5.80 range, sending the crowd absolutely wild." "Can you believe this? What an incredible day it is here today at Sky Dome Stadium's Stock Relay Event of The Year!" "Just take a look at the hoards of people who have come here to witness this unbelievable, most spectacular event of our time!" "If you follow the camera down to the far corner of the stadium it looks like we have a couple of investors fighting over some proxy forms as our trusted SEC militants step in to break it up." "The stock has moved into the 5.90 range and... wait... no... it's just flipped over the top of the six dollar barrier without any difficul... HOLY SHIT! I CAN'T BELIEVE THIS!!! MCF has broken the 6 dollar barrier as if it were a nylon screen on the gate of Pamela Anderson's pool area AND IT'S NOT TURNING BACK!!!" "6.10..... 6.15..... 6.20..... How high can it go?" "What an absolute fantastically uplifting event this has turned out to be today! And to think that we still have another 2 minutes left of play." "A few more fights have broken out over on the main floor. Aisles 33a and 34a seem to have more seats upside down than the Poseidon." "A new high has just been reached as MCF burns through 6.50 to close at an astounding 6.60!!!" "Ladies and Gentlemen, this has been a most superbulous play by MCF! What an incredible moment this has been here at Toronto's Sky Dome Stadium's Stock Relay Event of The Year!" Hmmmmm, yeah, I like the sounds of that. And then we can have "off X betting". Aside from our normal investments we can place bets with bookies and the likes on whether the market is going to "win" or "lose". Margin accounts will be maxed out, financial institutions will be cleaned out, the global debt rate will increase to astronomical amounts, suicide rates will be breaking all time records and people will be running Wild IN The STReet SCREAMING AT THE TOP OF THEIR LUNGS... I DIE FOR YOU MCF, I DIE FOR YOU!!!! Meanwhile, on the outskirts of the city, a much more gentle crowd is gathered around a campfire singing verses of Koombiya while waiting for their shares of Yogen Fruz to follow the internet trend. I guess that's possible(?)... a yogurt frenzy occuring... people going stark raving mad over yogurt stocks? Okay, enough of this. The Last Hour of Trade is wearing off. It's amazing what an 80 cent rise can do to ones imagination, eh? Sorry bout that, All the Best Marty
