Did you hear Andy Grove's comments on the Charlie Rose show? He kept mentioning Palm Pilot. His futuristic vision is a transition to computer type devices as hubs to feed information into smaller type Palm Pilot devices. John Chamber was there giving his opinion also. It was a very good interview of both CEOs. Based on some of the comments during the show, in my opinion, 3COM has a super chance to move up in this new world environment. Like Cisco, 3com can benefit from growth in either area, cable or phony areas. The challenge for other companies is who is going to win the bells or the cable companies. In either case, both Cisco and 3com win. Also, Wireless will grow overseas in a not so wired world drastically. al
