Ron,

You are correct. Ass kicking has been going on even
before recorded history. Much of the fossil record
of early human events seems to indicate that we humans,
or _Homo sapiens_ as the biologists like to call us,
are killers. We may have driven many other close species
such as the Neanderthals and Homo erectus right into
extinction. Almost the entire recorded history of man
seems to talk of endless wars and fratricide. In this
past century alone, over 200 million people have died
in wars. Thats why I don't have a whole lot of hope
for a peaceful 3rd Millenium.
