Well, Mayor, you've heard of Carlo Ponzi. This is a classic pyramid scheme. Not all (in my opinion unfortunately) are illegal, but many are.

We'll just have to wait and see what happens.

Most of HITs "business" model is a joke. But the keyword bid and rank is interesting. Basically, you are bidding for a favorable position in a search results list. Umm! Interesting.. needs some work -- its implementation is too simplistic.. but I could imagine Yahoo, Excite, and company exploring the concept. But while I might be willing to compete for a more favorable position on a YAHOO list of Atlanta florists, I don't know that I would see any value in bidding for a similar position on HITs.
