Yes I agree the wash sales apply to me. I just sold 1000 shares of DELL near the close for 34 5/8. Never thought I'd say that. I'm wondering about the intelligence of having Jan cov coalls on the others. If the market goes down much further I could get wiped out on my margin account if I dong get out of margin debt pronto. Warning to all: Put selling has grave grave problems: you can get a margin call with them and when you do you will be buying back those puts more expensively than you sold them for.
