James, Although I don't agree with the content, there is an element of kindness and concern contained within your words that I sincerely appreciate. For that I thank you deeply. As for the content, I do not believe that the world is getting worse, in fact, I believe quite the opposite. I can't attest to the people you know and meet, but I will say that the majority of the people I come into contact with are inherently good people. Most people, while having complex personalities with a myriad of different pressures working their way into their lives, would defaullt towards kindness and compassion with all things being equal. Most people are simple in their motivations, when they are broken down to the most basic level. They want love, security, and joy. Most actions stem from one of two motivations, love and fear. Greed is a fear of not having enough. Anger is a motivation that stems from avoidance of pain(emotional or physical) which is fear. Most negative actions are derived from fear. Love is an emotion from which ultimately all good is derived. It is up to each of us, to promote love and by doing so raise the conciousness (and vibration) of the planet towards what is "good". "You must believe that God gave His sinless Son for the sins of humanity, that by believing in His pure, selfless act can we become as one with God." Until you know the son as Christ, you will never understand what you so glibly speak referring to Jesus because it's "IN THE BIBLE>" You do not even know the details of Christ true sacrifice and what it has meant to humanity.
