I just bought a Dell Inspiron 3500. Actually it's a very nice machine and I'm happy with it. However the buying experience was not so great. I bought the bundled traveler's pack with it, and they sent it in 3 FEDX shipments, and I missed the delivery guy each time, so I ended up running to the FEDX office 3 times just to pick up my one laptop computer, and that bites since I paid extra for overnight delivery. When I tried to call customer service, my call got rerouted about 3 times, then I was put on hold and the message said I would be on hold for at least 30 minutes, so I hung up and boiled in the juice of my own anger and frustration of having just spend 2500 bucks at a company who won't even staff someone to take my call.

Am on the fence as to whether I'd buy one again, I like the price of emachines for desktops:
