Tomorrow, 4 June, 1999 promises to be an ugly day for both Bond and Stock markets. Regardless of the spin on unemployment numbers, the issue at hand appears to be "liquidity" problem. Based on the events of the past 2 weeks, it is entirely possible that most long bets are already on the table and most short-bets are off.

The likely question of tomorrow can very well be, "SELL TO WHOM?"

I have qualified this note just enough to avert a "jinx." -g-
