Oh my god! It's a new movement! First it was recovery from Alcoholism, then drugs, then dysfunctional families, Now there's a 12 step group for victims of volatility, who must admit their powerlessness over the direction of a stock in order to recover. Someone suffering from latent dillusions of NASDAQ approval or rejection is also commonly referred to as a NASDAPHOBIAN - the fear that nothing is, or ever will be "okay" until NASDAQ gives us the go ahead.

Typical signs include uncontrollable desires to invest in 30 day roll over GIC's on margin which are likely followed by a tendency to run around in circles, naked, in the lobby of various Exchange buildings screaming "This can't be happening, this can't be happening", or "I'm an Orange, I'm an Orange". At last followed by uncontrollable cravings for low fat yogurt and melba toast.

Gawd, how horrible... I hate melba toast.
