<<"perception becomes reality">>

edamo: I totally agree. Recently DELL hasn't given the marketplace enough reasons to be totally bullish about the future. IMO, that is about to change. I feel the next three months will be critical for DELL and the cards will be laid out on the table -- to help all the investors who haven't been patient or reading between the lines. We could very easily see at least 2 MAJOR partnerships / alliances rolled out by the end of the summer. They could enhance DELL's business model, drive new revenue and profit streams and help create THE PERCEPTION that DELL's hypergrowth machine is back on track (to beat the estimates again). DELL will do much more than just sell computers. Look for new complementary services and an aggressive ramp up in the enterprise marketplace. I also feel that DELL will not neglect appropriate high margin opportunities in the mobile appliance field. We are moving into "the PC Plus Era" and DELL intends to become a dominant player. So far 3Coms' Palm Pilot is the mobile device leader. I'm sure that Gates is frustrated that HWP, Phillips and CPQ haven't been able to roll out an acceptable handheld with win CE -- that really sells well. So could you see Bill Gates talking to MSD about coming up with a handheld PC /Device that's better by design -- an intelligent adjunct to the home / office PC?...Hmm...Just some thoughts to keep in mind. Oh by the way, Bill and MSFT have billions that they could funnel into R & D and exploratory efforts.

IMO, you are right about NETP as a small cap internet stock that has great upside. It is now my largest position and I plan to be patient. There are very few high quality internet stocks that could be standard setters in the e-commerce era that are available below the price where they hit the public market. I've enjoyed the shopping opportunity in the last week. IMO, there are a number of catalysts that could really make this stock move -- back up to new highs. Look at Auto-by -Tel (ABTL) today...it moved up 46% off its low....a new announcement about growth in e-commerce sales of autos....perception of future potential changes and kaboom. Watch for major new announcements from NETP. It's interesting that Micron is a new customer. I would expect that DELL could really leverage the NETP personaliztion technology for DELL.com, Gigabuys, and the DELL call centers. Think about an AOL, Yahoo, or an eBay....lots of content, services, shopping opportunities...customers often overwhelmed and they need better personalization and targeted recommendations...Building loyalty, sales and customer satisfaction is the name of the game ..Hmmm...I have a hunch that a deal with any of "the BIG Players" I have mentioned would increase NETP's visibility and allow them to be perceived differently. Just some thoughts. It could be an exciting summer.

Thanks for all your comments on the thread.

Best Regards,

Scott
