EyeDrMike, I think one possible statement they are trying to make seems to be the shutting down of a lot of dirty practices on the Street starting with "Front runners" all the way on down. My guess is that many wont want to give up their easy livelihood of greed without a fight and will be kicking and screaming all the way out the door. It is good to see that with the advent of extended hours there are also plans behind it all to clean up some of the old tricks that have been around since the inception. All the recent bad press about individual online traders and their "easy money" made trading Internet stocks seems to be a smoke screen to me. Hey the individual has no prayer against the old boys club. I guess some element of true Democracy and integrity in the trading system is about to come to town. Viva la Ashton! ;) Nanchate
