Just called Tom Donnelly, CFO of Netperceptions. First of all, I was surprised to hear he picked up the phone instead of the receptionist. In addition, I really enjoyed talking with him. Very down to earth guy and quite knowledgeable about everything going around, including the stock market. I had a very positive feeling about this company after talking to him, even though his comments were rather modest(CFO style, I guess). I just sent the follow email to him five minutes ago:

-----------------------------------
"Hi, Tom,

Nice talking to you this afternoon. I know you are a busy guy, so I would like to make my suggestions precise and short:

Netperceptions needs a more effective marketing strategy, or a better coordinated PR campaign to increase the public and investment communities awareness and interests in your company and products. Some ideas:

a. The internet, fundamentally is about efficiency and reach. Old marketing is dying, new personalized marketing is the way, and the only way to go. Netperception is the potential leader in this growing niche market, quietly but aggressively building the real internet infrastructure, along companies like Inktomi, Infospace, Qwest, etc.

b. Actively building new business partnership, alliance and strong brand recognition. AOL, Yahoo, Ebay are just few examples you may want to pursue. At this moment, "First comer has the ball". Netperception needs to fully utilize the "Personification" theme to the maximum benefit. Similar to Yahoo's campaign "Do you Yahoo", your ad logo may be:

"Netperception---We put nerves into the internet"
"Netperception--we push ecommerce to the ultimate level---U".
"Netperception---Catch ecommerce in a blink of an eye"
"Netperception---the real ecommerce enabler".

c. Get extra funding/backing from the players like Paul Allen, Ann Winblad or other big name VCs.

Just some random thoughts, you can take whatever you think fit. I have a lot of confidence in your company that's why I own 3200 shares of your company. Although I am obviously not happy to see the stock actions lately, but I do believe your company's tremendous potential and growth prospective.

Good luck to both of us!!!"

I really hope this company do well in the future. Oh well, everything is calculated risk, DO YOU OWN DD before investing. So far, I am happy I spotted some winner aheard of the herd, namely, INKT,DCLK,INSP which made me a happy camper. But I also lost my shirt in Aloy, so far the only Internet stock I lost money this year. Man, should have done my own DD before catch that falling knife!

If you are really interested in Netperception, please pitch in your effort to help this company grow!! By reading the posts here on SI, I do feel that majority of the people view this company that eventually might win big. If that's the case, let use our brain for a second and help.
