Mary Baker, don't borrow money from credit card to buy stocks.
Have you try getting a personal loan(Secured), is easy to apply & it make more sense than credit card loan or margin. You only use margin if you're 90% sure that the stock will go up in the next few days. Credit card loan = Loan Shark

Hi Mary, To enter the fray, I must tell you that a major difference between margin and credit card interest is that margin interest is tax deductible...it made a difference for me. de
