I think more institutional dumping is coming. They pump up the price
then dump.

If INTC is undervalued why they dump it? Something much be seriously
wrong!

Scumbria, RE: It appeared that the stock price was being manipulated up, so you might want to be a little cautious.

There are very few players in the market that have the capital necessary to manipulate Intel. And those players have better, legal things to do with their money. And if they wanted to do something illegal with their capital, there are many other nefarious ventures that would be much more profitable than manipulating the price of Intel, which would have an ephemeral effect.

Most likely, the jump that you are referring to was the result of a number of institutional buy stops around 52½, and a decided lack of sellers between 52½ and 53. If this was manipulation, the stock price would have pulled back to the 52 range. Instead, the stock price remained above 53 for most of the day.
