That DD rise in Feb could explain why so much Virtex backlog was left on the table in March & Aprin. With the bigger die, defect-density rules the yield equation more than any other factor.

Good news is that any way you look at it, demand for Virtex is far greater than anticipated. Combine that with growing 4000XL revenues and you get what should be excellent growth going forward. I wouldn't be surprised by double digit sequential growth. The engineering acceptance of Virtex also bodes quite well for the next two years!

Lastly I don't think we've seen the end of accelerating growth in 4000XL yet either. There are still some customers with very long design cycles that have chosen XL and haven't hit production yet.
