Meningitis Infects Three, Two Dead - (DENVER) -- Two Denver-area students have died of meningococcal meningitis and a third is now sick with the disease. Still, health officials say there are no signs of a major outbreak. A seventh grade student from North Middle School in Aurora died Saturday while being treated and an 18-year-old student at Chatfield High School died Thursday. The third teen to fall ill is also a North Middle School student.

I do not know if this is what was said at the annual meeting. It is more probable that they were enrolled but died before they were moved to the trial center. Sorry for any inadvertent confusion. I have asked XOMA not for new information but only to repeat what was said at the meeting.
