I don't think shorting BWT at the current price is a very good idea. Clearly the stock is overvalued (based on any typical investment standard) , but shorting overvalued stocks just because they are overvalued during the past 5 years would simply have been financial suicide. This company has zero legitimate competition, relatively small float, has extended there markets internationally, and has a product that could produce serious revenue and profit growth over the next 2-3 years. They haven't had any revenues over the past year or so, so any revenue would appear to be substantial growth. This sort of situation has systematically driven numerous stocks to tremendously rediculous levels over the past 5 years. Will shorting this stock be successful? Every stock can be shorted at some point and the strategy will succeed. But until the revenue-profit growth can be clearly identified and the stock price exceeds the realized future prospects of the company shorting BWT is extremely risky.
