Please be informed that in the rating of the top-300 Russian banks
published in the "Profile" Magazine (May 10, 1999 No.17) Neftekhimbank
(Moscow) was ranked as 202-nd among the banks with largest ownership
capital (RR 59,974,000) and 35-th among those with biggest volumes of net
assets (RR 2,539,660,000).

The bank was also on the 12-th place in the list of the banks with the
largest outstanding indebtedness on the credits granted till the 1st of
March 1999 (RR 438,032,000 or 17.6% of the risk assets of the bank).
