Well, it looked like good info (and looked like a very inept selling job). However, we haven't seen that these shares were registered for sale, so maybe this whole thing is a mistake.

From the good Sgt. on Yahoo:

<<Traeger and Harper couldn't have sold any shares. First, the pooling rules don't permit it until after THQ releases second quarter earnings. Second, the shares would need to be registered with the SEC before they could sell them(like with the shares issued in the GameFx and Rushware deals), and we haven't seen any registration statement filed for these guys. The report on this on the SI board was bogus,
or the guy misunderstood what he was told by "management." (Notice he didn't actually say who he spoke with.) ">>

I don't usually post even though i am long thqi but i agree with your observations.....i don't think that the sell off can be attributed exclusively to the pcpl's owners selling shares. What is happening with thqi is happening to a lot of tech stocks, representing companies that have grown well in the past and have great future prospects. Some of these companies have dropped 30 pts in the past month after reporting great earnings this past quarter. With all the talk of corrections and interest rate heights, i think investors are scared and when they see a stock go down 2 pts with some volume, they immediately sell. Similar complaints are being voiced on other tech threads. For whatever it is worth the fear factor is horrendous right now.
