Hey Macro I love the quotations. Get's me back to remeniscing again.
When I was an Engineering student at Manchester was when Bessie Braddock was infamouas. We had her as a guest speaker one time in the Student's Union and what a performance. A plump but hardy lady, and full to the brim with wit, wisdom and character She climbed up anto a big table we had and for a couple of hours kept 2 or 3 hundred of us controversially entertained, and amused. They don't build em like that any more. She would have chewed up Clinton and spat out the suspenders.

Happy days but long long ago (circa1947 or so)

Churchill was a war correspondent in the Boer war in SAf when he was younger.
