Michelle, no one get's someone suspended from SI. Jill is not some mindless robot who knee jerks someone off the threads. She obviously felt Daniel crossed the line with regard to decency. The only person who got Daniel suspended from SI is Daniel. I tried to jokingly encourage him to stop calling people 8th grade names day after day. He chose to ignore my advice. Daniel may return to SI in short order. I certainly hope that when he does he has learned a valuable lesson. By the way, I have very rarely seen anyone get suspended on SI without first being warned numerous times. Daniel probably ignored Jill's warnings in his desperation to get attention. For the record, I have never contacted anyone regarding Daniel. But I'll be darned if I shed a tear regarding his immaturity. Daniel has no one to blame but himself. I have been on SI for nearly three years debating people in various forums throughout this time, and never once had to resort to childish name calling in order to make a point. This isn't some teenage chat room! Rude name callers should either grow up or be dealt with. And as far as I'm concerned if you consider him your friend, it's partly your fault too. You witnessed first hand, day after day, him going to the cliff with regard to SI's rules of decency and chose to ignore giving him any advice. Not one person on this thread went so out of their way, day after day, to call people rude names or taunt them the way Daniel did. And for you to believe otherwise shows the thickness of the blinders you wear daily. Michael
