....or that can even offer the service as DSL is dependent on the local telco service's interest, and ability to provide. Those local telcos that are also ISPs should be in the drivers' seat on service and pricing.

Having functional DSL in my area could have easily eliminated the long standing wire pair shortage without stringing additional cable. Maybe the phone companies like stringing copper to meet demand, albeit while providing very slow analog data service (ISDN still too pricy here).

Westell's close alignment with two significant telcos should generate benefits going forward. Or, could they somehow screw that up?

Sold it on the quick scalp. I would like to see the 5s again. the tech market is making me nervous, short term. Back to my oils.
