ChopChop, personally, I feel WITC should do very well, atleast short term. There prospectus on terms of account growth is very impressive. But I wont be surprised if people close the accounts now. i am purely playing it as a short term (1day-10 days) if I get any. At least I expect a 30% pop.

ChopChop...that was an excellent "thinking out loud" post...let's call it a TOL post...

I thoroughly agree with you on the WITC IPO...and I couldn't have said it better myself. Heck, I have only been a WITC customer for less than two weeks and had a very positive experience so far. (I got BNBN shares and am quite happy with them thank you)

I think the perception of WITC to the masses will be a very positive one. And I think WITC has a niche here and will only get better in its business model. And I am sure they are trying diligently to work on customer service. I have run across scathing remarks about every brokerage company that does business on line. But people never seem to be satisfied. The bottom line is WITC has to be worth much more than $9-$11 a share thru shear perception alone.
I hope very much to get those shares.

Please for our sakes...keep up the TOL posts...they are worth reading.

Mahalo,
Mary

Thank you for a well thought out response.
I will keep WITC if I get it, may not be stellar right off the bat but they should show a nice increase in customers at the end of the qtr. Just look at how many of us on this thread are new wit customers. And I think they will continue to grow since IMO they actually give everyone a chance at the ipos. I've only been with them for a few weeks and already got BNBN and JWEB, though no ETYS or STRM(wow that's moving! should've bought on market day one!). So that makes me 2/4, much better then my 1/12 or so from e*trade. E-loan will definately be hot. I have a 5min time on INIT so I guess I'm out of that one:) Not sure on STAD but am leaving my co in, and am looking forward to 1800flowers and Blockbuster.
