Hmm, you must not have been around too long if you aren't familiar with Bre-X Minerals. It was a bald faced scam, and they ran the stock up to almost 200 if I recall correctly. It lasted for an extended period of time, and suckered in quite a few of some of Wall Streets bigger names.

It's mostly after the demise. The wheels came of in mid 1996 when one of the key people fell (some say was pushed) to his death from a helicopter.

In no way do I mean to imply or have anyone infer that because BXMNF was a scam that NCDR is a scam. The two companies are obviously unrelated. It is just an object lesson that shows that a scam can go on for quite a while, and be run up to unbelievable heights.
