Excellent point, Slate! And why wouldn't HP want that? To be sure, the lion's share of their printer division profits derive from after market sales. It's the nature of the beast. Margins may be razor thin on printers, but the toner cartridges and servicing of these devices generates obscenely high margins! If HP's Printer Direct service, or this "Secure Printer" service should just nudge their after market sales by even one percent, HP stands to generate millions upon millions of $$$'s. Cheers, Wooly
