I saw a post on MF today that pointed me to: aceshardware.com It seems that 3dfx is letting some of the Tawainese vendors make V3 cards (unless it is motherboards only, can't read Chinese so I can't read the PC Week article). I remember Ballard saying quite a while ago that they would be selling chips to "Taiwan Inc." Michael ps - pretty funny, I forget the "s" in aceshardware when I first posted this.
