Also the largest increase in shares outstanding occured when share price was .10 or less if I'm not mistaken. It took alot of shares to get the $$$ needed to jump start the current businesses and divest of the Magazine business back in Dec, Jan, Feb time frame. I for one make the assumption that we are at 100 Million shares outstanding already. I'm for growing the business as fast as possible.

<<<The good thing about it is that most of the shares are locked up for a year or more and are in strong hands. >>>

Oh, really?

A year ago the stock had 38 million shares out, with 28 million in the float: #reply-4531124

Now the figures are 75 million outstanding, 50 million in the float, according to the poster who called the transfer agent today. As wallstreeter would say, 50 million in the float is an awful lot to try to move: #reply-4665169

So... in the past year 37 million shares have been issued, and 22 million have been added to the float.

It appears that most of the new shares have wound up in the float, and were not restricted.

Why and how...?

"When" is a bit easier to figure. Look at the volume chart related to price: cbs.marketwatch.com

End of February/beginning of March... huge volume yet no real price move? Hmmmmm....

Sounds like the reason why companies start. They issue shares to get money to run the company otherwise they would go bankrupt.
