I spoke to Sean at G/H today. I just needed to get some straight talk from a REAL person about TSIG. Sean was very positive on TSIG. We discussed the business model, which G/H feels is unique. They believe it will be well received. They will be targeting trade publications. He laughed when I told him that I needed to stop reading these message boards. We both laughed. I have thought many times about how I wished I would have NOT bought in the 40s, so I could buy now. But, you know what? If I just stumbled upon TSIG today, with the unbelievable chaos going on, I'm not so sure I would have bought it at all. And that would not have been a good thing, imo. So, in that way, I guess I should just be glad that I have shares in this company. TSIG is struggling with financing. Typical, for a new company. They have big ideas. If they are able to pull it off, we all get rich. If not, well, we knew the risks, right? It is called RISK vs. REWARD. We are all out of our minds on these boards. I actually think some of us have an addiction to them, myself included. No matter how much they disgust me, I keep coming back. Anyone for Boards Anonymous? Let me preface this by saying that this is just my take on the subject, and that I could be wrong. First of all, I don't think that the second board member is necessarily from the PP company, but rather someone that those investors support. Having said that, it's possible that the reason why it took so long to get Dr. Frankel on the Board was, as I suggested in an earlier post, that the PP investors objected to it, partially because they didn't think much of Dr. Frankel's qualifications, and partially because they would rather have the guy that they support getting a Board seat if anyone was to get one. We don't know what kind of effort was involved in putting this second guy on the Board...the PP investors obviously don't post on SI, and this may have been in motion for a while. Maybe TSIG is adding both Dr. Frankel and the investors' choice to the Board in order to make everyone happy. I'm sure they feel that these are two people who can each make a positive contribution to the future of the company. Hammer
