JBL, The reasons as to why Russia hasn't intervened directly have been discussed here before. However, I would like to know why you think Russia hasn't intervened, and exactly what will be the cost/benefit analysis for them to do so. For any nation to take such an extreme action there is always a cost/benefit. Moscow is not stupid and they have been very astute in playing their "hand" and trying to extract the most value possible for their "cooperation". As for recommending me for Berger's job... certainly better it be me than someone as analytically superficial as yourself. (Face it.. you ask for that one... :0) Regards, Ron
