Regarding K-7 vs Coppermine. The leaked results so far are in line with my expectation of December that for the same MHz, K-7 and Coppermine would be marginally equivalent. In December,I had expected the Coppermine[700Mhz] to be in production by now. It looks that K-7 may have bragging rights for a few months at most until Coppermine shows up,this fall. The K-7 may also be handicapped by poor motherboard and chipset designs, and will gradually improve. The onus is on Intel to deliver the Coppermine processor and the Camino chipset with the traditional quality of execution, which will then open up a major performance gap between Intel and K-7.
