Anyone remember which was the worst day for the NASDAQ before tommorrow's crash? I'm not sure, but think it was the 140.43 drop from 1639.68 to 1499.25 on 8/81/98. Maybe it was 1987.

KIS, do you mean points or percentages?? A comparable decline tomorrow to last year's will be 208 points. Go Kissyputs. You'll be a billionaire. Will you hold on for Tuesday?

>> OK, well KIS is calling for the single worst day in the Naz ever tomorrow.

Michelle,

It seems everyone and their cousin (except EK) has sold out and is sitting on a ton of cash. So a crash will not happen from US based selling. However, if our Asian cousins are upset at US or need their money at home, and start selling US stocks, I guess that could do it. But that cause has been rehashed so many times, I don't know why it will happen right now. What else? Margin selling. I guess that could do it, but I thought most of that was exhausted yesterday. Well, maybe not. Personally I think the dow is very suseptible to interest rates, but the nasdaq has already had most of its correction.
