Michael and others - Lots of bum scoop on this thread. Motorola in effect owns the bevy of satellites now in orbit as well as a number of replacements. IRID pricing and business practices have done damage to all who have invested in and could benefit from the Iridium joint project. However, the birds are MOT'S and can be withdrawn in case of IRID folding. Talk to Motorola, not IRID, and don't worry about orbital life, worry about lousy business acumen. Bill
