I fully understand and agree with that comment.
I believe that the chat rooms are appropriate for day traders, where the information is useless hours later. In that regard, I don't think chat rooms for day traders with lost comments would be of concern.
Posts seem more consistent with the needs of position traders, researchers, investors, and posters just having fun with ot topics.
These are recorded and are of value for months after they are submitted. Hope this helps.

the new site (or at least my section of it) will be realtime time chat during trading hours and thread posting in after hours..i will shut the chat room down after the market closes and move over to the thread for topic and off topic postings..
