Hi Vitas .. bearshark ..

Two (perhaps one) thought(s):

This is a liquidity driven market.. M3 has been contracting.

I'm kinda expecting a bear market good Friday.

Vitas:

I am looking at the market in this manner. The DOT stocks have produced wealth (temporary or otherwise) for many traders. This wealth is important to the remainder of the market. If the DOT collapses, the overall market will feel it as we have seen. Yesterday, the DOT was holding at minus 200 or so on the INDU and I thought I was seeing some type of bottom being put in place. It was being supported by the Nasdaq averages also.

So, if the DOT holds today and moves up, we will rally in the overall market--at least within a day or two. The overall market is shaky and needs some confidence building. If the DOT tanks, falls badly below 550, we will see 250 in no time. Then 8600 on the INDU will be tested for a possible end to the bull market.

I think the DOT will hold and delay a collapse for now.
