Re: "Check out this post from January:

INTC was trading at $140 at the time"
-----------------------------------------
INTC - from $140 down to $53..... AMD - from $32 down to $18

Hmmmm, I guess I should invest in AMD instead. The stock DOES NOT SPLIT so the drop in the stock price should always be "minimal".
(plus the chance of getting invited to a fashion show someday).

Seriously, I think I'll keep Intel... Business Week, May 17 issue listed Intel as the third company after Citigroup and GE as companies that made the most $$$ in the last quarter. This makes me feel proud that I own stocks of a very profitable and financially stable company.

Thanks anyways ...

Linda

Oh, and I forgot to mention in my previous reply that these price drops are nothing compared to the internut stocks I own. But, I love them all ... they remind me of my teen age kids , so volatile, so EXPENSIVE and unprofitable, yet hold so much promise for the future.
They may someday disappoint me but heck, as long as I have fun and learn a lot along the way.

Thanks again, Scumbria.. I truly believe that you're a very caring person.
