One more note on this correction: Compare the 233, 21, 34 and 89, 3, 5 stochastics on the S&P 500 exhibited here to that of the last 3 corrections. This one has maintained a very strong intermediate term stochastics profile. Doug R

Doug,Although I'm not a grad yet, I believe i might have something here. Using the pre-scan requirements, and a 8,3,5 stoc, I scanned for xover stoc higher then 70 yet lower then 80 and hit ABTE, The k% stoc line is continually bouncing of the d% all the way up from 20 . Just coming off the 12/31 to 4/28 support line and attempting to break a long term trend line of 6/24/98 to 1/27/99. Today it did break it(high of 8.5) but did not hold above 7.5 O ya almost forgot the 89,3,5 just crossing 20. Could you take a look and give me your take on this one. wittder
