Thread, An excerpt from Kerm's letter:

In California, Black Sea is embarking on an extensive exploration program in the southern San Joaquin Valley. The region is one of the most prolific oil-producing areas in the United States. Black Sea is currently testing its second shallow well in the northern extension of the Lost Hills field, approximately 45 miles northwest of Bakersfield.

Dan jay,I can't do stock price estimates accurately
at all,as there is so many variables with the
jv's.However at the Eland Jennings website, there
are some fairly recent estimates posted.Earlier on
the thread it was speculated that we may see a
run-up when news is out that the well is actually
killed.
Just as a note, the new p/l we were talking about
and the ELH play are unrelated (except that a
couple of the jv's have interests in both Ft.Liard
and ELH).The new p/l is to run from NE BC to
Chicago.
It sure is getting interesting now that the
killtime is so close.Just hoping for the best for
all of those guys doing the work. It's a massive
undertaking, but we should know shortly.I gotta head
out for the day.Regards,Don
