Zeev,

Did you forget your Prozac again?

If the DRAM makers don't spend, the industry is going to hell in a hand basket.

If the chip makers do spend (NEC - DRAM, TSMC - a foundry), then we're about to see the mother of all capacity gluts and the industry is going to hell in a hand basket.

What level of spending by which chip makers might make you happy?

Or do we have to burn all the existing fabs to the ground before another nickle gets invested?

Ian.

(P.S. - Above was tongue in cheek, with several self generated chuckles)

Ian, here comes the DRAM glut again, much earlier than expected. The process was supposed to be consolidation and withdrawal from the arena by weak players, not fighting tooth and nails to stay in the game.
