Unfortunately the morbidity associated with this disease is often horrific. Complications include; necrosis of digits and/or limbs that may require amputation, infarction of virtually any or all organ systems, including the brain, kidneys, liver, small bowel etc. In addition needless to say the psychological damage to the survivors can be life long. Needless to say, I think we all hope that Neuprex is successful as a treatment regardless of monetary gain or loss.
